'Centro Raccolta Profughi' in Padriciano (Trieste, Italy)
The Museum of national character at "Centro di Raccolta Profughi di Padriciano" (Trieste, Italy) , is the only Emergency Centre for Italian refugees from
Istria and Dalmatia still existing nowadays in Italy, left unchanged since it has been abandoned in the early 70s.
Since November 2004 the main building guests the permanent exhibition C.R.P - History of julian-dalmatian Emergency Centers in Italy 1945-1975.

In occasion of the yearly recurrance of the Giorno del Ricordo (Remembrance Day) 2011, the Museum of national character CRP in Padricianoshall observe the following opening to the public, without reservation:
From 8 to 13 February 2011, every day due to following timeschedule:
From 10am to 12am
from 2pm to 4pm
On 12 February 2011 at 10am in the Museum of National Character - CRP in Padriciano, will take place the ceremony for the unveiling of a plte in memory of
Marinella Filippaz and the laying of a wreath in memory of all who perished in the refugee camps.
On February 22, 2011, the Mayor of Rome Mr. Gianni Alemanno will visit the Museum of National Character CRP Padriciano together with a delegation of students of the capital as part of the annual educational journey on the memorial sites in Venezia Giulia.
Individuals and groups who are in need of a guide to the exhibition or who wish to visit the museum outside opening hours, must indeed take previously contact with crp@padriciano.org or call (+39) 040 636 098, every morning from 10.00am to 12.00am, from Monday to Friday.
