The so-called "household effects" are about 2,000 cubic meters of various materials (furniture, equipment, resources which, paintings, prints, books, photos, boxes, clothes,
unifroms ...) delivered by the refugees and never retired.
Mainly from the ports of Trieste, Venice, Ancona, Brindisi, Bari, Taranto, and other of lesser extent, were concentrated in a warehouse of the Duty Free area of Port of Trieste in the 70s.
After being subjected to looting and vandalism over the years and have suffered extensive damage from fire and flooding on several occasions, the household goods were ordered by type between 2005 and 2010 and are nowadays managed by IRCI.
